About Us

The Bicentennial Community Centre is located on Bicentennial Drive, Sunshine Beach. The centre is home to many local sporting, recreational and community groups.

Two spaces are available for hire:

  • The Main Hall has a spacious 336 square metre parquetry floor, stage, tiled foyer and kitchen, with seating for up to 350 people in a theatre-style configuration
     
  • The Annexe Hall has a timber floor and kitchenette and seats up to 150 people in a theatre-style configuration.
     
  • Each hall has a kitchen, tables and chairs and is suitable for wheelchair access.

 

About the venue

Bicentennial Hall

  • 484m2 floor area.
  • 336 m2 parquetry ‘dance’ floor and 120 m2 stage.
  • Lectern and 2 angular noticeboards/ dividers.
  • Men’s, Ladies and Disabled Toilet facilities.
  • Men’s and Ladies change rooms with shower facilities.
  • Spacious domestic kitchen with plenty of bench space.
  • Equipment including: Large commercial fridges, upright electric 4 hob oven,
    microwave & an insta-boil water facility.
  • 300 piece crockery and cutlery set is available.
  • Entrance counter foyer with seating and tables, ideal for pre-event drinks.
  • Rear stage access (Please state in your application if you require this facility)
  • Men’s, Ladies, Disabled & separate Unisex toilet with baby change facilities
  • 280 chairs, 60 rectangular and 10 circular tables.

Note: Hirer to provide their own cleaning products.
 

Annexe

  • 235m2 floor area with sprung timber flooring.
  • Men’s and Ladies toilet facilities.
  • Spacious domestic kitchen.
  • Equipment including: Domestic Fridge/Freezer, upright electric 4 hob oven,
    microwave & an insta-boil water facility.
  • 140 chairs & 5 rectangular tables.
  • Lectern.

Note: Annexe unavailable Monday to Friday before 9.00am and from 2.00pm to 6.30pm.
Also, unavailable during QLD School Holidays and Student Free Days from 7am to 6.30pm.
