About Us

The Kawana Community Hall is a multi-functional venue centrally located on Nanyima Street, Buddina, adjacent to the Kawana Library, with close proximity to shops, public transport, parks and Kawana Beach. The venue caters for community groups, concerts, dance classes, trade displays, meetings, weddings and parties.

The main area seats up to 320 people (theatre style) and 200 (banquet style), the venue offers itself to a diversity of uses. The hall is supported by a spacious performance stage with room for 100 people complete with piano, audio equipment and lighting infrastructure. It offers both indoor and outdoor entertaining, with a large undercover rotunda area which adjoins Kevin Asmus Park. A fully appointed commercial kitchen completes the venue with both indoor and outdoor serving possibilities.

In addition to the hall, a community meeting space is located on the first floor to cater for groups of up to 30 people. Facilities include a plasma TV with built-in DVD player, mobile and wall mounted whiteboards, a fully equipped kitchenette, 30 deluxe chairs and a boardroom table.
