Pirates, buried treasure, sword fights, treasure maps, muskets!

Join twelve year old Jim Hawkins on his hunt for buried treasure. But watch out . . . . there are double-crossing pirates all around, led by the notorious Long John Silver. Will Jim make it from his home in a small seaside village to the mysterious Treasure Island?

Queensland Theatre Company and Matrix Theatre bring you this classic children’s story, in a new adaptation with sixteen characters and two actors. A magical coming of age story, and the original classic pirate tale, Treasure Island explores themes of adventure and escapism, coming of age, role models and overcoming fears.
