Join this delightful Australian/Irish blues and roots combo for their debut album launch, "Do Tell".
Ok, so a big, burly Queenslander and a wee Irish-woman meet in a bar…yep, this could go any which way. Especially when the Queenslander is the original, 6-foot something, bushy-bearded, imposing, real-deal with a wickedly dry sense of humour, and the Irish-woman is the cutest thing since sliced bread and has her own well developed brand of charm, wit and whimsy.
And especially since combined, the two of them have a way of making you smile – or even laugh out loud, and reminding you that just sometimes, the world produces something a little extra special; even if it was inadvertent.
The couple in question are Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson, now residing in matrimonial and musical harmony in Queensland’s hinterland, after a chance meeting and whirlwind courtship. Before you utter the words sea sick Steve let me put you straight. This Australian/Irish combo is something else and something special. Their songs are written from a time once forgot yet they are original in every sense of the word. 'Contemporary but at the same time as old as the hills' - AMERICAN ROOTS
Just announced - the support act for Hat Fitz & Cara is the "Doo Wop Dolls" a 3 part post war harmonies group with some of Noosa's famous Jazzers.
