The horror and futility of war, the hope for peace — as a prelude to the 100-year commemoration of the Gallipoli landing, Noosa Chorale is presenting a concert for peace. The program, with 46-piece orchestral accompaniment by Noosa Sinfonia, includes The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins, a powerful and emotional Mass for Peace, as well as a nostalgic selection of well-known and much loved war-time songs.
