Since opening in October 2006, The J is the place to go for What’s On In Noosa. The J has hosted some of the Sunshine Coast’s most exciting events such as TEDx Noosa, Noosa Alive!, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and performances from Australian and international artists, comedians and theatre productions. The Noosa Portrait Prize 2025 is a heartfelt celebration of the remarkable individuals who make our communities thrive. This event shines a spotlight on local heroes, whose everyday acts of kindness and dedication inspire us all to do a little better. Through the powerful medium of art, their stories of compassion and resilience are brought to life, reminding us of the impact we can have when we care for one another. By recognizing these extraordinary people, the Noosa Portrait Prize encourages us to embrace the spirit of community and strive for positive change each day.
